Surveys are needed for all sorts of purposes -
pre-purchase, condition, insurance, damage and re-fit are the main examples.
We have specialist equipment to help us, such as moisture meters for GRP hulls and ultrasonic thickness gauges for steel hulls.
We will provide you with a written report explaining any defects and how urgent the repair is and if required, suggesting means of rectification.
This information will be helpful in your decision making process when purchasing the vessel and allow you to factor in required repairs.
If the defects are very serious, you may wish to reconsider buying the boat.
